Don't change your Christmas plans over Omicron variant, says Sajid Javid
Health Secretary Sajid Javid has said people don't need to change their Christmas plans in light of the Omicron variant, but advised lateral flow testing prior to attending. However, the Health Secretary admitted that "it might take a bit longer than three weeks" to determine how bad the new omicron variant is, opening the door to Covid regulations being renewed ahead of Christmas.
