White House national security spokesperson John Kirby urged journalists during a press conference to let Israel "get it done" and "see what they find," emphasising that there's an ongoing investigation, following a report by Haaretz stating that an Israeli drone fired three missiles at the World Central Kitchen (WCK) convoy, resulting in the deaths of seven workers. Despite coordination with the Israeli military regarding its movements, the strikes occurred just hours after the WCK team unloaded a new shipment of 100 tonnes of food aid into Gaza, according to WCK.
