Labour has suspended another candidate, Graham Jones, a former MP for Hyndburn, over comments related to Israel and now he is currently under investigation. This follows Labour withdrawing support for Azhar Ali, the party's candidate in the Rochdale by-election, due to alleged antisemitic remarks. Mr. Jones, selected to contest his Lancashire seat in the upcoming general election, has not yet been specific about the comments leading to his suspension. However, audio surfaced on the Guido Fawkes website where he reportedly used an expletive to refer to Israel and suggested that British individuals serving in the Israel Defense Forces should be imprisoned. British nationals with dual citizenship are permitted to serve in the armed forces of their other nationality. Additionally, at the same meeting, Mr. Ali is accused of attributing the suspension of MP Andy McDonald from Labour to "people in the media from certain Jewish quarters." Mike Graham speaks with Telegraph journalist Steve Edginton, Spiked Online columnist Ella Whelan and journalist Eve Tawfick. #news #politics #government #talktv #talkradio
