Labour MP Rosie Duffield criticised male party colleagues and said she was “shouted down” during a heated debate on the Scottish Parliament’s gender Bill. Ms Duffield (Canterbury) backed the Government’s move to block Holyrood’s proposed reforms to allow trans people to obtain a gender recognition certificate through a process known as “self-identification” and without the need for a medical diagnosis.
