Palestinians flee after Israeli forces surround Gaza's biggest hospital

The World Health Organization has said it has lost communication with contacts inside al-Shifa hospital, Gaza's biggest medical centre. The hospital's director has said Israeli forces have surrounded the hospital, while a surgeon inside said forces have 'bombed continuously'. Thousands of Palestinians had taken shelter at al-Shifa in Gaza City. Some chose to flee further south while others are believed to be trapped inside. The hospital's last generator has also run out of fuel, which has lead to at least six deaths, including a premature baby and child in an incubator. Israel – Hamas war: latest updates
