Regional pay boards not part of 'central costings', says Liz Truss

Liz Truss has said regional pay boards were not part of her central costings during a Conservative party hustings in Cardiff. The foreign secretary was forced into a U-turn earlier this week on a controversial policy that would have seen public sector workers outside London potentially face pay cuts relative to costs of living in their regions.
