Seven people have been shot dead at a synagogue in East Jerusalem. The attack took place on Holocaust Memorial Day. A 14 year old boy is among the dead, and a number of other people were wounded. Israeli Ppolice said the attacker was killed by the security forces as he fled the scene. Tensions have been high since 9 Palestinians, both militants and civilians, were killed during an Israeli military raid in Jenin in the occupied West Bank.
