Sunak vows to change law after Supreme Court rejects Rwanda policy

Rishi Sunak has vowed to pass emergency legislation that would designate Rwanda a safe third country after the Supreme Court ruled his small boats policy was unlawful. In a press conference at Downing Street, the prime minister acknowledged that once the law has changed, “we could still face challenges” given the UK’s international obligations.
