A single dad-of-four said the announcement that the Universal Credit uplift will be cut has made him feel "very down" but insists he "can't give up". Rishi Sunak indicated that the planned cut will go ahead this week and did not rule out further tax rises in his speech at the Tory Party conference on Friday. Despite working almost 30 hours a week in construction, Brahim Rarbi still depends on a top up Universal Credit payment to make sure he can feed his children each week. "I'm trying my very best to keep working... and at the end you feel tired because you're not going anywhere. It's like you're punching a wall," he tells ITV News. • Subscribe to ITV News on YouTube: http://bit.ly/2lOHmNj • Get breaking news and more stories at http://www.itv.com/news Follow ITV News on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/itvnews/ Follow ITV News on Twitter: https://twitter.com/itvnews Follow ITV News on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/itvnews/
