Tyre Nichols is the only person featured in the footage who is seemingly trying to calm the situation. He is a man dying, and yet, all those around him appear to stand by and do nothing. Police bodycam footage shows 29-year-old Tyre Nichols being violently arrested by five police officers who held him down and repeatedly struck him with fists, batons and boots.
