Ukraine's Zelensky lands in Hiroshima to meet G7 leaders
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in the Japanese city of Hiroshima on Saturday (May 20) to attend the Group of Seven (G7) leaders' summit in the city, to drum up support for his country's efforts to counter the invasion by Russia. Zelensky, wearing his customary olive green fatigues, stepped out of a French government aircraft. The Ukrainian leader's presence at the G7 summit in a city that was the first to suffer a nuclear attack cast into sharp relief western governments' concerns over the nuclear threat posed by Russia.
