Justin Bieber shows 'solitary distress' after shedding 'bottled up' tears

Justin Bieber is showing signs of 'solitary distress' after his teary eyed social media selfie sparked concern from fans.

The pop singer shared a series of snaps on Instagram with one being an up close selfie where he appeared red eyed and crying. The sad selfie appears to be showing "an intimate moment" that has potentially "been bottled up for years" according to a body language expert.

Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, body language expert Judi James has unpacked what Justin's tears might mean. She told us: "This one tear looks tragic but it’s unclear what might have prompted it. It suggests a man whose distress is solitary but also something that he wants to share with the world."

She continued: "It’s a very sad image that creates a desire to nurture and support. Justin has posted an intimate moment here that he nevertheless wants to share with his fans. The one tear signals genuine distress that has perhaps been bottled up for years. It is leaking out rather than flowing and that makes it all the sadder here."

The sad selfie sparked concern from fans as Justin's wife Hailey didn't appear in any of the pictures in his recent post, although she did comment under it appearing to crack a joke that her husband is a "pretty crier".

In the comment section, fans posted their worries for Justin as well as picking up on Hailey's comment. One person said: "Are you okay bro?" while another speculated: "Is that a sign?" which seemingly referenced the recent split rumours that have plagued the pair. "I think he and Hailey might be in a bit of a crisis," someone else said, while another penned: "Justin, what happened? Why are you crying?"

The couple sparked divorce rumours recently after Hailey's shared a now-expired post on his Instagram stories where he begged for prayers for the model and singer. The post was originally posted by Victor Marx and was a video of Justin playing a guitar and singing a Christian song called I Will Sing of Your Love Forever.

Back in March, divorce rumours were going wild on social media, with this forcing Hailey to take to her Instagram to clear up any speculation of a possible split. "Just FYI, the stories and constant 'blind items' I see on TikTok are 100% of the time wrong," she penned at the time. She went on to add that the claims are "made out of thin air" and "come from the land of delusion". Hailey then said that it "may be fun feeding into these stories," but urged "they're always false."

Justin and Hailey have been married since 2019, and were pictured looking loved up last weekend as they attended Coachella together in LA. The couple were seen gazing at one another while singers performed on-stage, with them even cuddling up to each other.
