Stockport 5-3 Bolton: highlights and reaction
Bolton Wanderers and Stockport County renew acquaintances this evening as both sides meet for an FA Cup first round replay.
The tie has been taken to a second match this evening at Edgeley Park after a 2-2 draw earlier this month at the University of Bolton Stadium.
In the previous meeting, National League side County took a shock lead when Scott Quigley put them in front, but League One Wanderers rallied and got back on level terms when Doyle equalised and then went ahead thanks to Elias Kachunga.
But County equalised in first half stoppage time when Ben Whitfield slotted home, with the tie being taken to a replay at Edgeley Park and the game being played this evening.
The reward for this evening's victors will be a trip to take on League One side Rotherham United in the second round, which takes place at the start of December.
And this evening's game could also see former Wanderers captain Antoni Sarcevic play against his old side, after departing Bolton for County in a surprise move last month after he missed the first game.
We'll be live throughout the evening bringing yuo all the action from Edgeley Park including build-up, team news, match action and reaction to see which Greater Manchester side can reach the next stage of the competition.
And the non-league side progressed with a 5-3 victory as they stunned the League One outfit.
Wanderers took the lead early on when Elias Kachunga put them ahead early on, and their lead was doubled when Ash Palmer puit through his own net.
Paddy Madden halved the deficit from the penalty spot, before Amadou Bakayoko restored Bolton's two-goal advantage, though Scott Quigley netted before the break.
Palmer scored at the right end before full-time to take the tie into extra time, before Quigley and Ollie Crankshaw struck to dump a dismal Wanderers out of the competition.
