Angela Rayner asks Liz Truss 'whose side are you on?' during Labour conference

The deputy Labour leader questioned the financial decisions of the prime minister and her Conservative party, during the Labour conference. Rayner nicknamed the PM 'Trickle-Down Truss' as she said the Tories 'pile billions into the bank accounts of cronies' but left working-class people with little support. Rayner discussed the lack of funding received by pubs and small businesses, 'the lifeblood of our communities', during lockdown and argued that they need a government on their side amid concerns over the cost of living.
