Boy dies after group of teens 'got into difficulty' in River Eden in Carlisle

A 15-year-old boy has died and a second boy aged 14 is in a critical condition after a group of teenagers "got into difficulty" in a river in Carlisle, police have said. The force confirmed it had found the body in the river, near to Rosehill, shortly after 1.30pm today after the teenager was first reported missing yesterday evening. Police were first called at 6.41pm o Friday, following a report four boys had got into difficulty on the waters.
