Croydon: Man and woman arrested on suspicion of murder after discovery of human remains in park
A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder after human remains were found in a park – but police remain unable to identify the alleged victim. The 44-year old man and the woman, 48, remain in police custody after they were detained on Saturday in connection with the gruesome finds at Rowdown Fields in Croydon, south London, this week. A post-mortem examination will commence today as the alleged victim is yet to be identified.
