All the people King Charles was introduced to at Llandaff Cathedral
The King and Queen Consort have arrived in Wales for their first official visit since the Queen died last Thursday. The pair are attending a prayer and reflection service for Her Majesty at the city's Llandaff Cathedral as the final part of their UK tour.
Preparations have been ongoing all week ahead of the much-anticipated visit as crowds line the streets of Cardiff. A gun salute marked the moment the King, wearing a black suit, arrived in the Welsh capital via helicopter. He then got into a waiting Rolls-Royce to be driven to his first engagement. On arrival at the cathedral, the King and Queen Consort were introduced to a number of notable Welsh people by the Vice Lord Lieutenant. These included:

Following the service the couple will receive condolences at the Welsh Parliament and meet members of the Senedd. They will then travel to Cardiff Castle where King Charles will hold a private audience with Welsh First Minister Mark Drakeford and the presiding officer before attending a reception hosted by the Welsh Government.
