According to Helena, the show is ‘Me Too’ without any intimate scenes because Gordon “took on the bullies”.



When asked if Helena thinks the industry has improved in terms of men taking the decisions, she said that the situation is getting better but it is still “ageist”.

During his The Graham Norton Show appearance, Russell T Davies revealed on Friday that he was a ‘super fan’ of the show, ‘Crossroads’ and he wrote an entire script for the show just days before the ITV soap opera was cancelled. Davis was on the BBC talk show to promote his latest project ‘Nolly’ which is in tribute to late Crossroads star Noele Gordon , who is played by Helena Bonham Carter in the three-part series Nolly on ITVX Crossroads was launched in 1964 and the late Noele was one of the show’s biggest stars.
