The rise and rise of All Saints singer Melanie Blatt
MELANIE Blatt shot to fame in the 90s aged just 22 when she joined the girl group All Saints.
Since then the singer has remained in the spotlight and has even tried her hand at TV.
Melanie was born on March 25, 1975, and is an English singer-songwriter and actress.
She rose to fame in 1997 as a member of the girl group All Saints along with Nicole and Natalie Appleton and Shaznay Lewis.
During their heyday the group had five number one singles, two multi-platinum albums, two Brit Awards and have sold over 10 million records worldwide.
In 2013 and 2015, she was a judge on the television series The X Factor NZ, and in August 2022 she took part in Celebrity MasterChef.
Are All Saints still together?
After four years together, All Saints parted ways in 2001.
In 2003 Melanie released her debut solo single Do Me Wrong, but was later dropped by her record label, and her solo album was cancelled.
But in 2005, she made a return to music with her single See Me.
Then in 2014, All Saints made a spectacular comeback, and reunited.
They continue to perform and tour together to this day.
All Saint's biggest songs are Pure Shores, Never Ever, Bootie Call, and Under The Bridge.
