He asked why such companies would not face criminal sanctions under the current draft legislation, to which Mr Johnson said he would "come down hard on people who allow dangerous and extremist content on the internet". Mr Johnson responded there will be "criminal sanctions, with tough sentences" for those responsible for allowing extremist content online.
