German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock and Nato secretary general Jens Stoltenberg held a joint news conference after Finland confirmed its decision to join Nato. Finland announced on Thursday it was going to apply for Nato membership, but the announcement was quickly followed by Russia's reaction. Moscow said it could be cut off from Russian gas.
