The full line-up for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee concert has been announced. The Party at the Palace will take place over the long bank holiday weekend and now the BBC and Buckingham Palace have released details of the glittering event.

Queen + Adam Lambert will open the Queen's Jubilee party with a special performance to mark her 70 years on the throne, while Diana Ross will close the two-and-a-half-hour show. It will be the legend's first UK live performance in 15 years.

Andrea Bocelli, Alicia Keys, and Eurovision runner-up Sam Ryder, fresh from his success in Italy, will also take to the stage. There will also be a specially recorded performance from Sir Elton John.

As well as an incredible line-up and specially recorded films, which will include Sir David Attenborough, Emma Raducanu, David Beckham, Stephen Fry and Dame Julie Andrews, the evening will also include performances from the casts of The Phantom Of The Opera, Hamilton, Six, The Lion King and Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. Special appearances will also be made by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The BBC said: "The evening will pivot around global themes that have been born, or evolved, during the breadth of Her Majesty's reign due to extraordinary British and Commonwealth contributions including Fashion, Sport, The Environment, 70 Years of Pop Music and Musicals." Here's everything you need to know.

Who is hosting Party at the Palace?

Host Kirsty Young, who presented BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs for 12 years, and presenter of Capital Breakfast, Roman Kemp, will lead live coverage of the Platinum Party At The Palace.

Can you get tickets for Party at the Palace?

Unfortunately, it's too late to get tickets for Party at the Palace. 10,000 tickets were allocated back in March in a public ballot, while a further 7,500 tickets were held for key workers, members of the Armed Forces, volunteers, and charities.

However, you can still watch the event as the concert will be broadcast live on BBC One, BBC iPlayer and BBC Radio 2. The event takes palce on Saturday, June 4 at Buckingham Palace. For more showbiz and television stories, get our newsletter here.
