Millions of the lowest paid workers will see a boost to their pay after the Treasury announced the National Living Wage will increase, as part of the autumn budget. It will be welcome news for low income families, who are facing a cost of living crisis this winter. But with an increase in National Insurance, a reduction in Universal Credit and record petrol prices, it's unclear whether workers will be better off.
