The Queen will not be attending Tuesday's State Opening of Parliament for the first time in 59 years, Buckingham Palace has said. The Prince of Wales will read the speech instead, after it was reported that the Queen continues to experience "episodic mobility problems" and the decision has been made with her doctors for her to stand down from the event.
