Dr June Raine, chief executive of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency said a 'through review' and monitoring had found it was safe for those aged 12 to 15 to have a second vaccine dose. All people aged 18 and over are to be offered a Covid-19 booster vaccine as part of efforts to tackle the spread of the new Omicron variant.
